Why are some VPS more expensive than others?
A VPS Server can be deployed with cheap hardware with low performance, which will be reflected in its final cost or with Advanced Hardware with high specifications and naturally it will cost more. So for purely didactic purposes, we will run the linux lscpu command on some famous vendors to check the types of CPUs they install in order to extract the most important technical details of the CPU and determine. If the CPU model is related to cost, but we will also share the recommended usage of that CPU benchmark.
CPU REVIEW OF A 5 DOLLAR VPS
What is evidenced.
1. CPU Cost: Undetermined
2. Model Name: The processor model is hidden and uses a virtualization technology called Quick Emulation, so we won't know what we're buying. Most likely it is a container and not a VPS.
3. Hypervisor is KVM. KVM is an Opensource Hypervisor (Free of charge)
4. The processor is 2GHZ. And the second level cache (L2 Cache) is very small, only 4 Megabytes, so from the outset we know that it is not a high-performance processor.
Recommended use: Loads that do not require CPU, such as file servers, static web, etc. Not recommended for an application with databases because it will not work fast.
CPU REVIEW OF A $20 VPS
What is evidenced.
1. CPU cost: $662
(Cost to provider)
Intel link to their specs.
2. Model Name: Xeon(R) CPU E5-2630L v2 @ 2.40GHz. This VPS is better not bad for a basic load.
3.Hypervisor is Opensource KVM and virtualization is Kernel based.
4. It has 15Meg third level cache and is still a medium performance processor. This means that an application that manages databases will not work very fast either, but it is better than the previous one.

CPU REVIEW OF A $100 VPS
What is evidenced.
1. CPU Cost: $2,090
(Cost to provider)
Intel link to their specs.
2. Model Name: Xeon(R) CPU CPU E5-2690 v2 @ 3.00GHz. This CPU in its specification reads in its bandwidth up to 68 Gigs.
3. The server uses Windows Server with Hyper-V with full Virtualization.
4. It has 25 Meg third level cache and is a high performance processor. This means that an application that handles databases intensively is going to work better literally. best hosting services
